With hatred too, you are able to carry out your matters. This is how the Creator’s systems work—that even the hostile have all possibilities open to them. You are not capable of all-encompassing Creator-like activity, for the fruits of hatred are visible to all. For those in need of help, even in anger, all possibilities are open, for good can be done with hatred as well. Thus, our hostile people carry out matters of influence through hatred, in which case it depends on the person themselves how they channel this hatred—more usefully or more harmfully. This is the soul’s task: to channel everything more rightly, even though hatred exists. You do not care about that; only through hatred are demons born into the world, whose purpose is to guide even a person caught in feelings of hatred. The only proper action of angels is that which reduces hostility, but such action is not possible for everyone in every situation. Rather, in moments of rashness and unpreparedness, facing the feeling of hatred is the only option, by which some kind of action is produced without greater thought. Thus, hatred works best in thoughtless people, whereas for those who consider things calmly, hatred is left behind through all thinking activity. Thoughts, therefore, reduce hostility.
